GrandExchange.com is a free, independent Grand Exchange price tracker for Old School RuneScape and RuneScape 3, built and run by a small team of long-time players. Every tool on the site - live prices, charts, the Flip Finder, alerts, watchlists, guides and calculators - is free to use, with no login required for any market data.

Where the data comes from

• OSRS live prices: the OSRS Wiki real-time prices API, crowdsourced from actual trades observed via the RuneLite client, polled continuously.
• RS3 prices: the official WeirdGloop API, updated daily.
• Item metadata: buy limits, alch values and examine text from the community-maintained item mapping, refreshed weekly.
• History: our own database of both games' prices reaching back to 2021, with nightly backups.

How the derived numbers are calculated

Every margin, ROI and profit-per-hour figure is computed after the 2% GE tax. Flip rankings weight after-tax margin by observed trade volume and buy limits; the confidence score blends liquidity, margin health and price freshness. Market indices weight each member item by its 30-day GP turnover with a per-item cap, rebased to 100 at the window start. Money-making guide profits re-price wiki methods with current GE data.
